Bittersweet days for Chick and Pica Sergis, aka Grandpa and Grandma, as the "Sold" placard was added atop the real-estate sign in front of our home in Calabasas, CA. After 30 years in "this old house" where we raised Alicia, Laura and Charles, we'll be moving out next month. Next stop is Redondo Beach where the Sergis Clan (I'll have to look up the word for "clan" in Greek) will consolidate with the McCauleys. We hugged our great neighbors Billy and
Lucy Martin, and vowed to stay in touch, and we will. But while we remember old friends it's on to LA's South Bay to make new ones and to toddle along next to a precious boy named Matthew.

Yes, Dad, it's sad to see the homestead sold. However, you & Mom will find a nice place where you'll be happy. Change is good!
